What if you’re NOT as messed up as you THINK you are?

What if I told you that 98% of the thoughts, feelings and emotions you experience on a daily basis ARE NOT ACTUALLY YOURS!

What if, all those ‘problems’ you thought you had actually weren’t yours? 

What if your ‘problems’ were someone else’s thoughts, feelings or emotions that you’re just highly AWARE of? But instead of acknowledging how freaking aware you are, you assumed it must be yours; your pain, your sadness, your anger, your anxiety, your thoughts about not feeling worthy or good enough.

How many of you grew up around someone who was sad, angry or disconnected a lot of the time? And if so, how many of YOU have spent most of your life labelling yourself as being a sad, angry or disconnected person? How many of you just accepted that these feelings were your own, that you must be an angry / sad person (for example) because your parents are, instead of questioning the origin of them?

One of the greatest lessons I’ve ever been taught is that just because you ‘feel’ something (sadness, pain, anger, disconnection) it doesn’t mean it’s yours! In fact, the majority of the time it’s NOT YOURS.

One of our capacities we’ve been using our whole life, and never acknowledged, is our AWARENESS. We are LITERALLY aware of, and pick up on, everyone else’s thoughts, feelings and emotions around us, but are never taught about this capacity growing up. Instead we’re taught that everything we think and feel is our own individual ’problem’ that we must fix through seeing a psychologist, doctor, attending anger management classes etc

The problem is that when we don’t acknowledge our awareness (or any capacity we have) we turn it against us. We end up locking everyone else’s thoughts, feelings and emotions into our bodies and then label ourselves as depressed, anxious, sad, angry, when 98% of the time it was NEVER our stuff to being with! And this is what I'd spent my WHOLE life doing, until I was introduced to Access! 

For me, the tools of Access Consciousness® and The Bars® have changed my life DRAMATICALLY. I grew up thinking there was something inherently wrong with me. I constantly judged myself no matter what I did (or didn't do), would slip into the wrongness of me more often than I'd like to admit, and never thought I was good enough, pretty enough or smart enough, no matter what anyone told me. I had an extremely toxic relationship with my body and attracted abusive relationships into my life. And no matter what therapist I'd see and no matter how often, nothing seemed to change much, that is until I was introdued to The Bars®. 

I remember when I got off the table at my first Bars class I was a COMPLETELY different woman. My monkey mind was silent, my mind was clear and I felt a sense of space I had never felt before. I felt a sense of ME- the space, lightness, greatness and brilliance I truly BE, which I'd never acknowledged before. The anxiety I felt before jumping on the table was a distant memory, and I was more relaxed than I'd ever experienced before. I remember jumping off the table and exclaiming, "This is what I desire to do! Why doesn't everyone know about this!". 

Moving forward, I'm now a Certified Bars Facilitator, have a beautiful relationship with my body and my being, and wish to share The Bars® with the world!!
